The Toledo Rockets men's basketball team represents the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Mid-American Conference. The team last played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 1980. Stan Joplin was released from his duties as head coach as announced on March 17, 2008 after serving as head coach for 12 seasons.[1] He was replaced by Notre Dame assistant Gene Cross.[2] The current head coach is Tod Kowalczyk.[3]
